WYCUP began as a Scholarship program designed to raise the voice of young professionals through credit unions and financial cooperatives. Since 2001, WYCUP has awarded 111 scholarships for an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the World Credit Union Conference, spotlighting professional journeys and engaging emerging leaders with our global movement.
In recent years, our efforts have expanded to promote youth empowerment initiatives that raise awareness, increase engagement and expand the relevance of credit unions and financial cooperatives with young people everywhere. Our sustainability depends upon it.
