The World Council Young Credit Union Professionals program was initially designed as a scholarship program to promote and engage the next generation of credit union leaders in the international credit union movement. Today, WYCUP has become a platform for emerging credit union professionals, including current scholarship recipients, past scholarship nominees and alumni, worldwide to connect, share and live the credit union values of cooperation and people helping people.

Transform the future of the credit union industry and establish life-long WOCCU champions through strengthening purpose and mission-driven leadership, exemplifying diversity and inclusion, and amplifying the voice of the next generation.

Engagement, Education, Sustainability.

Build relationships with humans from different cultures who speak different languages but share the same purpose, to serve. Learn and share different values and credit union specific development. Grow beyond the comfort zone through travel and gain an appreciation for exploration and listening. Build access to strengthen the movement as a whole. Derive sustainability and long-term legacy.
